- Yield and disease results are available for the peanut OVT conducted at the EV Smith Research Center (EVSRC) in Tallassee.
- Trial management has been updated for BARU and both WREC trials.
- A weather summary has been added for each location. This includes the # of days to digging, irrigation, season total rainfall, total water, growing degree days, and trial mean yield.

- Yield and disease results are available for:
- Irrigated and non-irrigated peanut OVTs conducted at the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center (WREC) in Headland. Due to a late-season spider mite infestation, leaf spot ratings were not possible on the non-irrigated trial.
- OVT conducted at the Brewton Agricultural Research Unit (BARU)
- New for 2024 – Peanut hay was harvested from the WREC irrigated OVT. Hay yields are available and are reported on a dry matter basis. On the trial page, click on the hay tab. Stay tuned: Grab samples are being analyzed for forage quality and to determine nutrient removal.
August 26 – 2024 tomato spotted wilt virus ratings are now available for the OVTs. These ratings are compliments of Extension Pathologist Amanda Scherer and Research Associate Kathy Burch.
Additionally, variety specific images from the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center’s field day are available for the WREC irrigated OVT.
