Introduction
Wheat, oats, barley, and rye are tested annually at several locations throughout Alabama by the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station. These tests are designed to provide information on relative performance of varieties in given regions of the State and may not reflect absolute yielding potential.
Entries selected for testing are primarily commercially available varieties; however, experimental lines from public and private sources which show potential for use in Alabama are also evaluated.
