4-H AWW Group of the Year:

Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

The 4-H AWW-AUUF group was officially started in 2017 by Julie Meadows and co-leader Shawn Jacobsen who is a long-time friend of AWW. Its success is in part due to Julie and Shawn’s creative use of the curriculum and dedication to making it work. It is also important to note that a couple other long-time water watchers have provided important support: Jayme Oates, who worked with AWW for many years and has trained many of our monitors and Jan Newton who is a dedicated volunteer monitor. Most importantly, the students have embraced water monitoring and seem to love it. This is the best part of it all!

Congratulations 4-H AWW-AUUF!
