Following the new year, we came back to see that some of the oat and rye varieties were ready to harvest. One of the rye varieties produced just over 1800 pounds of dry matter per acre. Four of the oat varieties produced over 1900 pounds of dry matter per acre. That much dry matter production by January 4 should get your attention!
