October 18 – Yield data is available for the OVT at the Sand Mountain Research and Extension Center (SMREC) in Crossville.
October 12 – Yield data is available for the OVTs at the Tennessee Valley Research and Extension Center (TVREC) in Belle Mina.
- 2022 trials in North, AL, suffered significant drought during the season. As a result, yields were significantly reduced. These results document the hazard of planting non-irrigated corn in a season with extreme drought. Therefore, this trial is excluded from the analytics portion of the database.
- Irrigation at the TVREC location was inoperable for an extended period of time during the season. Therefore, the irrigated trial should be considered non-irrigated even though it did receive a small amount of irrigation.
September 14 – Yield data is available for the non-irrigated trial at the EV Smith Research Center (EVSRC) in Shorter (see note below).
2022 Non-Irrigated trials in Central, AL, suffered significant drought during the critical portion of the season, reproduction. As a result, yields were significantly reduced, data was variable, and differences between varieties could not be detected. These results document the hazard of planting non-irrigated corn in a season with extreme drought. The following trials can be viewed individually but are excluded from the analytics portion of the database:

September 12 – Yield data is available for the Baldwin County irrigated on-farm trial at the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center in Fairhope.
September 7 –Yield data is available for the irrigated and non-irrigated trials at the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center (GCREC) in Fairhope.
September 6 – Yield data is available for the irrigated and non-irrigated trials at the Prattville Agricultural Research Unit (PARU) in Prattville (see note added on September 14).
September 1 – Yield data and a couple of general trial images are available for the non-irrigated corn trial at the Brewton Agricultural Research Unit (BARU) in Brewton.
