The purpose of this circular is to present briefly the hitherto unpublished results of cotton variety tests
conducted by the Department of Agronomy of the Alabama Experiment Station. In an effort to determine
the best variety for the several sections of the State tests have been conducted in north, central, and south
Alabama in addition to those made on the Experiment Station at Auburn.
