November 30 – Yields have been uploaded for the Iron Deficiency Chlorosis (IDC) trials conducted at the Black Belt Research and Extension Center.
- MG4 – Shatter ratings were highly correlated to yield.
- MG5 – IDC ratings were highly correlated to yield.
- MG6 – Neither IDC nor shatter ratings were correlated to yield.
- MG7-8 – Neither IDC nor shatter ratings were correlated to yield.
August 28 – Iron chlorosis ratings are available for the soybean trials conducted on Sumter soils at the Black Belt Research and Extension Center in Marion Junction.
Symptoms were evaluated on a 1-9 scale. A plot with a value of 1 has no visual symptoms. A plot with fatalities would have a value of 9.
Iron chlorosis ratings are located under the ratings tab in the Variety Selection Platform. Ratings are also included in the PDF report. Make sure to pay attention to the “Iron Chlorosis Top Group” in the variety selection platform or the bolded varieties in the PDF.
Additionally, variety-specific images have been uploaded to the variety selection platform documenting iron chlorosis symptoms.
