- Yield results are available for the 8 soybean trials conducted at the Black Belt Research and Extension Center. Each maturity group is evaluated on a low and high iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC) soil.
- Results from the Low IDC trials are reported as individual trials but excluded from any multi-location or year tables due to low yields.
- High IDC results:
- MG4 – Shatter ratings were highly correlated to yield.
- MG5 – IDC ratings were highly correlated to yield.
- MG6 – Neither IDC nor shatter ratings were correlated to yield.
- MG7-8 – Neither IDC nor shatter ratings were correlated to yield.

August 28 – Iron chlorosis ratings are available for the Sumter soybean trials at the Black Belt Research and Extension Center in Marion Junction. Iron chlorosis ratings are located under the ratings tab in the Variety Selection Platform. They are also included in the PDF report. Make sure to pay attention to the “Iron Chlorosis Top Group” in the variety selection platform or the bolded varieties in the PDF. Additionally, variety-specific images have been uploaded documenting iron chlorosis symptoms.
