Rain gardens are a part of stormwater management systems that can be both beautiful and functional. They are shallow, vegetated landscape depressions that slow water for a short time to provide stormwater infiltration, pollutant filtration, native plant habitat, and effective stormwater treatment for small-scale residential or commercial drainage areas.
In this workshop you will learn the basics of rain garden design and help the Crump Senior Center design their own rain garden.
