AWW Volunteer Trainer and long-time Lake Watch of Lake Martin member Judy Palfrey has been named Lake Martin’s Outstanding Volunteer of the Year!

To know Judy is to know contagious enthusiasm, passion, fantastic creativity, and an excitement for stewardship and environmental education that is nothing but inspiring. Judy has dedicated decades to educating youth and the public about watershed issues, and she has even crafted her own macroinvertebrate display (she calls it the “Bug Box,” made out of clay!) to show kids the wonder of Alabama’s living streams!
Congratulations, Judy, and thank you for your dedication to Lake Watch of Lake Martin, environmental education, and Alabama Water Watch!
