We are still on track for an in-person event at the Perdido Beach Resort from September 8-10, 2021. We will not change to a hybrid or virtual model for this event.
Please note the following expectations for ALL attendees:
- You must wear a mask indoors unless actively eating or drinking
- Socially distance from others whenever possible
- Practice good hygiene by using hand sanitizer stations throughout the day, especially during breaks and meals
- Follow CDC-recommended guidelines for COVID-19
- Attendees will complete a COVID screening questionnaire during initial check-in at the registration desk
Here’s some of the ways we are doing this:

- Providing each conference attendee with their own personal hand sanitizer product
- Changing the location of the 9/9/21 Poster Session & Social to a much larger indoor room with an additional, adjacent outdoor deck (weather permitting) as well as breaking up the crowd into 2 shifts
- Using round tables throughout the event to increase social distancing
- Limiting room capacity for breakout sessions to seating room only

- Staggering dismissal of tables and breakout rooms during breaks and meals
