SAVE THE DATE for a new workshop series based on AWW Founder Dr. Bill Deutsch’s new book, Alabama Rivers, A Celebration and Challenge. The workshop will cover a brand-new curriculum based on the book, and will cover natural and human history, geology, geography, and many more topics as they relate to Alabama’s rivers. This workshop will include a Stream Biomonitoring Certification through Exploring Our Living Streams: Stream Biomonitoring.

• Demonstration on select lessons and activities from the Guide

Day 2 – Friday, July 19

Programming will include:
· Introduction to Exploring Our Living Streams (EOLS) and monitoring with students
· Demonstration on select lessons and activities from EOLS
· Stream bioassessment in the field
· Continuation of select lessons and activities from the Educator’s Guide to Alabama Rivers
