Alabama Water Watch does not require that monitors conducting Stream Biomonitoring use a particular brand of equipment. AWW Manuals list the needed materials in detail, and the following are materials are recommended based on their quality and cost:

  • Student Grade Kick Net $49.95 Poles are not included. 1 ¼ inch wooden dowels work well and can be purchased at Lowes or Home Depot.
