Available certifications include AWW Water Chemistry and Bacteriological Monitoring and recertification. You must complete each of the steps outlined below to receive your monitoring certification.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">This workshop is sponsored by the Choctawhatchee Riverkeeper and the Dale County Extension Office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Follow these steps to get started:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">1.\u00a0\u00a0Register for training through this form by May 12th, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">2.\u00a0\u00a0Complete the online courses (link will be in confirmation email).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u><strong>By Midnight on May 15th<\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Complete the self-paced, online coursework<\/strong>\u00a0for the monitoring type(s) of interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Introduction to AL Water Watch \u2013 This course is required for all monitoring types and must be completed to unlock all other AWW Online Courses. (1 hour) <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Bacteriological Monitoring Course (1 hour)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Water Chemistry Monitoring Course (2 hours)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><u><strong>On May 17th<\/strong><\/u><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Attend the in-person Field Day\u00a0<\/strong>where you will demonstrate your ability to conduct monitoring tests under the observation of an AWW Trainer. Participants will be expected to follow CDC guidelines regarding in-person gatherings during the training.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Venue: To Be Determined<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Field Day Schedule: To Be Determined<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">You will receive additional details for each of these steps closer to the workshop date.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Only your name, email, phone number, and mailing address are required to register for this event.
