Available certifications include AWW Bacteriological Monitoring. You must complete each of the steps outlined below to receive your monitoring certification.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nFollow these steps to get started:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0Register for training through this form by February 27th, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0Select the monitoring type(s) for which you would like certification through this form.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>On February 27th<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Participate in the Kick-Off Zoom from 12-1 pm.<\/strong>\u00a0<em>This is not required for certification but will help you navigate the training process and meet AWW Staff.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the link and instructions you receive via email following the Kick-Off Zoom to enroll in the Online Courses required for the certification type(s) you requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>By Midnight on March 13th<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Complete the self-paced, online coursework<\/strong>\u00a0for the monitoring type(s) of interest.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduction to AL Water Watch \u2013\u00a0This course is required for all monitoring types and must be completed to unlock all other AWW Online Courses.\u00a0(1 hour)<\/li>\n<li>Bacteriological Monitoring Course (90 minutes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>On March 15th<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\n<strong>Attend the in-person Field Day at Camp McDowell<\/strong>\u00a0where you will demonstrate your ability to conduct monitoring tests under the observation of an AWW Trainer. Participants will be expected to follow CDC guidelines regarding in-person gatherings during the training.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Field Day Schedule: 2pm-5pm<\/strong><br \/>\n1:45 pm\u00a0Check-In for Bacteriological Monitoring Session<br \/>\n2:00 pm\u00a0Bacteriological Monitoring Session<br \/>\n5:00 pm\u00a0Adjourn<\/p>\n<p>You will receive additional details for each of these steps closer to the workshop date.<\/p>\n<p>The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (Alabama A&amp;M University and Auburn University) is an equal opportunity educator and employer.
