  • EVSPBU Ryegrass:
    • 2nd harvest yields are now available

May 13

  • CREC Ryegrass:
    • 3rd harvest yields are now available
    • Season total yields are available.  These totals are subject to change if there is enough regrowth for a 4th harvest

April 27 

  • SMREC Ryegrass:
    • Initially thought to be a total loss, the trial has shown some recovery.  As a result, winter survival ratings are now available.
    • Variety specific images from the SMREC field day have been added for the 12 varieties that had greater than 60% winter survival.
  • GCREC Ryegrass:
    • 4th harvest yields are now available
    • Late season and season total yields are available.  These totals are subject to change if there is enough regrowth for a 5th harvest.
  • CREC Ryegrass:
    • Cold damage ratings have been added to the variety selection platform

April 12 –  Harvest 1/Early Season yields are available for first harvest of ryegrass at the EV Smith Research Center (EVSRC) in Tallassee.  Note:  The first planting of this trial was lost.  As a result the trial was re-planted on November 29th.

April 4 – Yields are available for:

  • 2nd harvest at the Chilton Research and Extension Center (CREC) in Clanton
  • Early season yields have been added for the CREC ryegrass
  • 3rd harvest at the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center (WREC) in Headland
  • 3rd harvest at the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center (GCREC) in Headland

March 15 – Yields are available for the second harvest of the season at the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center (GCREC) in Fairhope.  Early season yields (harvest 1 + 2) are also available for the ryegrass OVT at the GCREC.

March 8 – Yields are available for the first harvest of the season at the Chilton Research and Extension Center (CREC) in Clanton.

March 3 – Yields are available for the second harvest of ryegrass at the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center (WREC) in Headland.  Early season yields (harvest 1 + 2) are also available for the ryegrass OVT at the WREC.  Additional harvests may effect early season totals moving forward.

February 8 – Yields are available from the first harvest at the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center (GCREC) in Fairhope.

January 27 – Yields are available from the first harvest at the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center (WREC) in Headland.
