October 21 –  Lint yields are available for the full-season non-irrigated OVT at the Tennessee Valley Research and Extension Center (TVREC) in Belle Mina.  The trial averaged 898 lbs. of lint per acre.  The highest yield was 1083 lbs. of lint per acre.

October 19 – Lint yields are available for the full-season non-irrigated OVT at the Brewton Agricultural Research Unit (BARU) in Brewton.  This is a new location for the 2022 season.  The trial averaged 1104 lbs. of lint per acre.  The highest yield was 1284 lbs. of lint per acre.

Please be reminded that the “Top Yield Group” is an excellent option when evaluating yield data.  The varieties in the Top Yield Group are statistically equal to the highest yielding variety.
