October 22 – Yields are available for the non-irrigated peanut trial at the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center (GCREC) in Fairhope.

October 20 – Extension Pathologist, Amanda Scherer, has provided leaf spot and white mold ratings for the non-irrigated peanut OVT at the EVSPBU.

October 15 – Extension Pathologist, Amanda Scherer, has provided leaf spot and white mold ratings for the non-irrigated peanut OVT at the GCREC.

October 11- Seed per pound at harvest is available for the non-irrigated peanut OVT at the WREC.

October 6 – Yields are available for the non-irrigated peanut OVT at the WREC.  Additionally, seed per pound at planting is available.

September 17 – As we prepare for harvest, please familiarize yourself with the new data delivery system.  There are several demonstration videos that walk through the features of the AU variety selection platform and can be used for reference.

For the 2021 season, Auburn Variety Testing added two additional peanut trial locations for a total of 4 trials.  In addition to the irrigated and non-irrigated trials at the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center (WREC) in Headland, trials were planted at the EV Smith Research Center Plant Breeding Unit (EVSPBU) in Tallassee, and the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center (GCREC) in Fairhope.

Peanut Extension Pathologist, Amanda Scherer, has been taking disease ratings on the peanut variety trials.  Tomato spotted wilt virus ratings are now available on the variety selection platform.
