Available certifications include AWW Stream Biomonitoring. You must complete each of the steps outlined below to receive your monitoring certification.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/auburn.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_cAMTC3UFMyzfazc\">Register Here<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Follow these steps to get started:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0Register for training through this form by September 29th, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>On September 29th<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Participate in the Kick-Off Zoom from 12-1 pm.<\/strong>\u00a0<em>This is not required for certification but will help you navigate the training process and meet AWW Staff.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the link and instructions you receive via email following the Kick-Off Zoom to\u00a0enroll in the Online Courses\u00a0required for the certification type(s) you requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>By Midnight on October 13th<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Complete the self-paced, online coursework<\/strong>\u00a0for the monitoring type(s) of interest.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduction to AL Water Watch \u2013\u00a0This course is required for all monitoring types and must be completed to unlock all other AWW Online Courses.\u00a0(1 hour)<\/li>\n<li>Stream Biomonitoring Course (90 minutes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>On October 16th<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\n<strong>Attend the in-person Field Day in Auburn, AL<\/strong>\u00a0where you will demonstrate your ability to conduct monitoring tests under the observation of an AWW Trainer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<br \/>\n<\/strong>TBD &#8211; Auburn, AL Area<\/p>\n<p><strong>Field Day Schedule:<\/strong><br \/>\n8:30am &#8211; Stream Biomonitoring Training Session<br \/>\n12:30pm &#8211; End of Training<\/p>\n<p>You will receive additional details for each of these steps closer to the workshop date.<\/p>\n<p>Only your name, email, phone number, and mailing address are required to register for this event. We ask for optional information so we can better understand our effectiveness in serving all Alabama citizens and for reporting general, anonymous statistics to our federal and state funders.
