Workshop facilitators will provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An overview of the <em>Alabama Rivers<\/em> book<\/li>\n<li>Instruction in how to use the curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrations of how to conduct several of the lessons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the afternoon, participants will tour Auburn University&#8217;s E.W. Shell Fisheries Station and engage in science-related programming.<\/p>\n<p>Participants who complete this Alabama Rivers Book Workshop will receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification as an Alabama Rivers Educator<\/li>\n<li>Copy of <i>Alabama Rivers, A Celebration and Challenge\u00a0<\/i>by Dr. Bill Deutsch<\/li>\n<li>Copy of\u00a0<em>An Educator\u2019s Guide to Alabama Rivers<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Access to online digital resources<\/li>\n<li>Continuing Education Units from Auburn University and Professional Development Units from PowerSchool<\/li>\n<li>Lunch (<em>provided by Legacy, Inc.<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Workshop Registration Fee is $25. Refunds will be given up to two weeks before the workshop. Your registration is not complete until your fee is received.
