See Friends of the Locust Fork River website for more information.*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.friendsofthelocustforkriver.org\/river-clean-ups.html\">https:\/\/www.friendsofthelocustforkriver.org\/river-clean-ups.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Friends of the Locust Fork River participates in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alpals.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">People Against a Littered State (PALS) Adopt-a-Stream Program.<\/a> \u00a0Each second Saturday\u00a0FLFR volunteers clean up the areas at Swann Covered Bridge, Mardis Mill Falls, and Taylor Ford &#8211; a FLFR leader provides bags, gloves, trash grabbers, etc.<\/p>\n<p>With more volunteers FLFR could clean up more river sites such as Horton Mill Covered Bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Want to share the fun and take part in our life-sustaining actions to keep the river and county cleaner?<\/p>\n<p>9:00 am Swann Covered Bridge, Sam Howell,\u00a0 leader<br \/>\n10:00 am Mardis Mill Falls, Alden Brindle,\u00a0 leader<br \/>\n\u200b10:30 am Taylor Ford, Ana Self,\u00a0 leader<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>*This event is not hosted by Alabama Water Watch.
