DESCRIPTION:Trainer: Hana Berres\, Dana Herren\, and Tayler Steele \nWorkshop Contact Email: hana.berres@jccal.org \nWorkshop Description: Test physical and chemical characteristics of water to determine pollution sources and long-term trends in water quality. Six variables are measured with a customized test kit\, and results can be compared with water quality standards that define conditions for healthy waterbodies. \nThere will be a short break for lunch\, so you might want to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle. Please wear clothes and shoes that you would not mind getting wet or dirty. If it’s a sunny day\, you might want to bring a hat and wear sunscreen because we will do some field work after lunch if the weather permits.
