The normal working hours of the PSRC are from 7:45 am to 4:45 PM Monday through Friday. The offices are closed for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

The PSRC greenhouse complex is available for use by University faculty, professional staff, or students, and affiliated USDA personnel.

Access to the PSRC is limited to authorized users including faculty, staff, and students. Visitors must check in at the director’s office and must be accompanied at all times. Children must be under adult supervision and may not enter greenhouse sections except as part of a scheduled tour arranged with the director’s office at least two weeks in advance.

Authorized users of the PSRC can request special access to the facility after-hours, over weekends and holidays.  The director of the facility is responsible for determining the need for after-hour’s access and if granted, will submit the appropriate forms to Access Control at AU Facilities Department. If access is granted to a user, the Auburn University ID card is used to enter the building through the front door of the headhouse.

Anyone authorized access is responsible for building security.  All outside doors of the headhouse and greenhouse are to remain locked except during normal working hours.  The card reader system logs users as they enter the greenhouse.  Please do not let anyone use your card or let someone in after-hours. Each authorized user should have their card with which to enter the building.

Failure to maintain building security could result in the loss of after-hours access.

To request after-hours access, send an email message containing your name, Banner ID number and your Auburn Tigermail user name to Jane Farr at hoehaje@auburn.edu.
