FY 2013 AAES Initiatives and AAES Grants: Awards are complete.
AAES External Grant Mentor Program: The purpose is to provide funds for an outside expert to assist in the development of a grant proposal. Any tenure or tenure-track faculty member with an AAES appointment is eligible for this program. The proposal must be an extramural proposal designated for AAES Division 3 research. The award is dependent on the size and complexity of the application with a standard award of $500. Applications accepted any time.
AAES Multistate Travel Grant Program: The Multistate Travel Grant Program provides funding for travel to multistate project meetings. All tenure-track or tenured faculty members who are official participants of an approved multistate project are eligible. The dollar limit for the Multistate Travel Grant Program is $750 per request. Requests can be made at any time during the year.
AAES Small Equipment Grant Program: The purpose of the program is to assist with the purchase of small equipment that will strengthen the research capacity and capability of the AAES. These awards are not intended for the purchase of major research equipment, but to make up the gap between major research equipment as funded through NSF, USDA, or other federal agencies and requests for equipment in individual research projects. Requests for computer equipment are not allowed except when the computer is a part of the equipment system.
FY 2008 AAES Request for Equipment Funding: All tenure-track or tenured faculty of Auburn University with an approved AAES Hatch or Multistate research project are eligible to apply. Proposals are expected to be for a single piece of equipment with a total cost of $2,500 to $50,000. The application deadline is 4:45 PM on March 17, 2008. Awards
