Precision agriculture workshops presented

The Alabama Precision Agriculture Extension Program will be presenting several precision agriculture workshops in 2017. The following are topics and other information about the programs.

Yield Monitor Calibration and Use of Yield Data. Accurate data will result in right management decisions. During this workshop, we will review the key steps to yield monitor calibration. Additionally, hands-on exercises on basic yield data analysis will be included. This workshop is limited to 50 people. Date: June 22. Register for free by June 12 at: http://bit.ly/2jwrdZ4

Precision Ag. Planter Clinic. Precision planting is critical for even emergence, good plant health and final yield. During this event, several private companies will showcase the latest on precision planting technology and rate controller technology. The clinic is limited to 150 people. Date: Nov. 30.
